Camiguin Island

So as always, we started our day early to head to our destinations and to be able to follow the itinerary that we have prepared for the trip. 1st on the list was going to the famous White Island in Camiguin. Actually, we have rented a “habal-habal” for the entire trip to take us to all the hot spots in Camiguin. Sad to say, the weather didn’t  seem to be in a good condition. It was cloudy and it rained all day. But anyways here are some pictures along the travel.

As what you can see in the above picture, the thick black cloud or grey is covering the entire view of the mountains. We should suppose to have Mt. Hibok Hibok as our background in here.. hehe..  It was very unlucky that it started to rain after we arrived a few minutes at the White Island. We have decided to leave the place because of the heavy rain and strong wind blow. Even though it was only a 10-15 minutes boat ride  during the short travel back to the shore line, it was still scary because of the big waves and strong wind.

Next destination, The Sunken Cemetery.

Sorry for the bad picture. The camera had moist and if you noticed, there is a dot on the picture. Eventually, the rain continued pouring. We are all wet including the habal-habal driver. However, thanks to Habagat dry bag as it made our things/gears safe from being wet. We bought it few days before our trip as we have anticipated such situation. We really recommend it for travelers/backpackers. :)  The rain did not stopped us in visiting other spots. We still continued to travel all round to see and witness the beauty of Camiguin despite of feeling cold.

Next Destination, Katibawasan Falls

We continued to roam and next destination was this falls. We only took some pictures and never did dare to go swimming because we were already freezing. As you can imagine, we are all wet from t-shirts to shorts to under wears. LOL

The last destination was Ardent hot spring. This spot saved us all from the cold weather. We did took a bath, and relaxed for almost an hour in the warm water. After this, we went back to the hotel and rest for the night.
